	Created on Arches watercolor paper in my Ink/Blending style of intricate pen & ink with delicate washing of inks and acrylic inks in transparent layers. This image is now historicl, the view as seen was distroyed during the 2007 renovation of the Henry C. Chambers Park in Beautiful Beaufort SC.

Great White $1200

Photo credit to my daughter Celia Fripp age 17, when she visited relatives in the Keys, Fl. This illustrative painting is an excellant example of my Ink/Blending technique with intricate Pen & Ink with delicate watercolors. A rare bird indeed, know only to be seen in Florida, living in SC most of my life, I have never seen one here. This is a large painting on Arches watercolor paper, framed in a handsome gold flecked driftwood frame called "Shipwrecked"

Pritchards Island Spirit $2000 I associated with this lone palmetto spirit, seeming to brace into the wind & waves, possibly holding back the elements to protect the loggerhead turtle nest behind it. A supurb example of my intricate, detailed pen & ink, even the sky is thousands of tiny lines. Looking closer the washes are ink also, not watercolor. I layer them thinly as this builds layers creating a transparent effect. Visiting a barrier island is truly an out of mind experience. This one is one of my favorites well over 300 hours to complete and many thousands of pen lines. enjoy
